oh yes, whether she's natural. relaxers her hair. or sews/glues/bobby pins her hair in.
it is all mechanisms to maintain this hair peering arrogantly from out scalp.
but it's not just the black woman's struggle....the black man plays his own role in the hair game.
we all know a guy that will wear a cap even while he sleeps because his barber couldn't fit him in. or my favorite the guy that is constantly brushing his hair, lighting candles so that his waves kick in.
from afros to braids. edge ups. and activators. wave caps. (oh yes we are not the only ones wrapping out hair at night)
they have grease. potions. serums just as we do.
