i find you beautiful here-
sitting silently under the
same tree you sat under when
the world was breaking.
with shadows of leaves
cast on your upper lip. you
said were all/ drowning
in a sea of our own.
bubbling out we try to swim,
but someone adds sand
and instead the plot thickens.
i sat there with you to avoid falling stars.
a super nova on my tongue, i miss it all.
time seems to get lost in you.
your presence beats the hands of the
clock in the opposing direction.
i wish i had you strength.
